De Bethune Adds The DB28xs Steel Wheels And DB28xs Aérolite To Its Collection

De Bethune released two remarkable timepieces at Geneva Watch Days, the DB28xs Steel Wheels and the DB28xs Aérolite. Both watches redefine modern watchmaking by integrating pioneering design with technical innovation.

The DB28xs Steel Wheels is a reinterpretation of the DB28 Steel Wheels launched in 2018. It features a more compact design without compromising on technical features and aesthetics. Its case is crafted from titanium and has a size of 39 mm and a thickness of 8mm, making it lightweight and comfortable to wear. The watch is a standout with its open-work dial that showcases the contemporary architecture of its movement and delta-shaped bridge, a signature design element of De Bethune. Its dynamic architecture of various forms stands out, with its moon positioned at 6 o’clock.

The timepiece includes the manually wound De Bethune caliber DB2115V13 beneath the open-worked dial, which delivers excellent chronometric performance and an impressive 6-day power reserve. Its titanium balance wheel, equipped with grey gold weights, achieves perfect inertia and regulation. Additionally, the De Bethune balance spring offers unmatched precision.

The second timepiece, the DB28xs Aérolite, combines distinctive elements of the DB28xs Starry Seas and the DB28XP Météorite while introducing new elements of contemporary watchmatching. It features a 39mm black zirconium case complemented by a blue meteorite dial, symbolizing the convergence of earth and sky. Its dial features a random guilloché pattern and a starry sky with white gold stars, offering a harmonious contrast to the precise geometric lines of the Muonionalusta meteorite. The watch is powered by the De Bethune caliber DB2005, which also provides a power reserve of 6 days and includes a titanium balance with white gold inserts.

The two watches embody De Bethune’s philosophy for perpetual innovation and horological excellence and will surely appeal to enthusiasts of exceptional timepieces. The DB28xs Steel Wheels is priced at $90,000, while the DB28xs Aérolite is priced at $120,000. Both timepieces are available on De Bethune’s website.
