Brabus ROCKET GTS Is A Shooting Brake Hybrid Supercar

Brabus unveiled the latest addition to its ROCKET lineup, the ROCKET GTS, which embodies the ultimate blend of bold design and power. It stands out with its low, wide stance and hyper gran turismo shooting brake silhouette made entirely of exposed carbon.

The ROCKET GTS features a high-performance hybrid drivetrain that blends the power of a BRABUS eight-cylinder displacement engine with an electric motor. This produces a combined output of 735 kW / 1,000 hp. The cumulative maximum torque of 1,820 Nm. is electronically limited to 1,620 Nm to protect the Shooting Brake’s power transmission elements.

The BRABUS ROCKET 1000 4.5-liter V8 biturbo engine produces a peak output of 585 kW / 796 hp and a maximum torque of 1,250 Nm, electronically limited to 1,050 Nm. This power is delivered via a nine-speed sports transmission. It’s one of the fastest hybrid cars in the world, taking just 2.6 seconds to go to 100 km/h from a standstill, 9.5 seconds to reach a speed of 200 km/h, and 23.6 seconds to break the 300 km/h sound barrier.

Brabus utilized state-of-the-art CAD and CFD technologies to produce every detail in the ROCKET GTS. Its carbon fiber body, produced via autoclave utilizing cutting-edge prepreg processes, optimizes both weight and strength. To ensure stability even beyond 300 km/h, the car’s aerodynamic components have been finely tuned to balance downforce on the front and rear axles.

The custom front apron, equipped with an integrated spoiler, minimizes front axle lift, while large air intakes optimize airflow to the radiators and brakes. The rear axle features exposed carbon skirts and dynamically curved wheel arches, which shape the supercar’s silhouette and create a width of 198.5 centimeters at the rear axle. Additionally, an exposed carbon diffuser, which houses four illuminated, exposed carbon-encased titanium tailpipes of the exhaust system, delivers a substantial boost in downforce at the rear axle, the tailgate spoiler, and the ducktail spoiler.

The supercar’s custom-wide fenders make room for BRABUS Monoblock P ‘PLATINUM EDITION’ wheels, featuring a center lock design and five spokes. Integrated exposed carbon aero blades add to the visual impact and enhance the hypercar’s aerodynamics by directing air heated by the brakes out of the wheel arches.

Inside, the ROCKET GTS immerses you in luxury with soft, high-grade leather in slate gray and black Alcantara upholstery integrated throughout the interior, including the steering wheel, center console, dashboard, door panels, and more. Light gray decorative topstitching and quilting in the BRABUS Seashell Diamond design extend throughout the cockpit, seats, and luggage compartment flooring. The interior also features carbon entry sill trims with an illuminated BRABUS logo that complements the exposed carbon bodywork. Moreover, ROCKET GTS logos are on the passenger side of the dashboard, and the front seats’ side panels and seat belts are present.

The Rocket GTS is one of the most exclusive vehicles Brabus has built, with only 25 units available at a price tag of around $1 million USD. For more details on this limited edition shooting brake model, visit the brand’s website.
