With their latest update, Instagram has introduced location and hashtag Stories through the Explore tab. This means users can check out all the different Stories other folks are posting with specific Location Sticker. Want to see all the different Stories from Oracle Arena or related to a specific hashtag like #NBAFinals? Now you can. There’s a new story ring at the top of Explore that shows stories happening near you. You can search for any location around the world as well, and a story ring for that place will be at the top of the location page. Similarly, hashtag stories on Explore will help you find stories related to your interests and searching for a hashtag will show a story ring at the top of the page filled with stories using that hashtag.
Location stories on Explore are available on iOS and Android as part of Instagram version 10.22 in the Apple App Store and Google Play with Hashtag stories rolling out over the coming weeks.
