The 2015 Bently Mulsanne Speed Blue Train has arrived. The car’s release celebrates 85 years since Woolf Barnato beat the Calais-Mediterranee Express (also known as the “Blue Train”) in an epic car versus train race. In homage to the event, Bentley has released this customized version of the regular Mulsanne. The 2015 Bently Mulsanne Speed Train’s signature exterior features, as inspired by the original Speed Six which Barnato drove in 1930, include: the front grille, which has a square mesh design and is uniquely finished in chrome with a vintage Bentley emblem underneath, and a set of black-painted, multi-spoke rims. The interior is also unique with custom sills with the words “Blue Train 85 Years” inscribed on the doors and a dashboard featuring a veneer image of the Barnato’s Speed Six. The “Speed” in the car’s name is an indication of the power-enhancing modifications made on the Mulsanne to create this 530 horsepower vehicle with 811 pound-feet of torque.  It runs from 0 to 60mph in 4.8 seconds and hits a top speed of 190mph.
