HBO has revealed a one-minute sneak peek into new drama series ‘Vinyl’ directed by Terence Winter, and produced in collaboration with Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese. The 10-episode show will follow Richie Finestra (played by Bobby Cannavale), a record executive in the 1970s trying to find a new sound among the roar of music in New York City. The short clip shows some on-stage performances, gold albums, riots, drug-taking, and violence. HBO has referred to the show as ‘a ride through the sex and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop’. Vinyl is scheduled to premiere on HBO sometime next year.
