Hamilton Celebrates The Movie Makers At ‘Behind The Camera Awards’ And Jazzmaster Regulator Cinema Unveil

American-founded watch company Hamilton Watches is celebrating their 10th Behind the Camera Awards and partnership in Hollywood with a special-edition watch. This Jazzmaster Regulator Cinema Edition was presented to all honorees and presenters at the award show earlier this month. We were on hand for the show and even got a chance to wear the Jazzmaster for the evening.

There’s a lot to appreciate about the Jazzmaster Regulator Cinema as it separates the hours and minutes with an asymmetrical design that harkens back to the days of turning reels in movie cameras. The back of the watch is also an homage to old Hollywood with a printed movie reel and provides a glimpse of the automatic H-12 movement regulator inside. This watch is a 42mm stainless steel timepiece and features a black dial with grained finishing, covered by a curved, anti-reflective glass. The watch hands are nickel, and the overall watch boasts 50m water resistance. To wear, Hamilton has provided a black leather crocodile strap with stainless steel clasp.

For Hamilton, some of their most iconic timepieces of the past decades have made appearances in film and television. Their support of the Behind the Camera Awards is a natural extension of their products having appeared in over 500 different films.
