Lamborghini Brings Huracán EVO RWD Spyder Into Your Reality with AR Unveil

Lamborghini’s latest open-air two-seater comes in the form of the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder and it’s been unveiled via Augmented Reality on their official website. Lightweight engineering meets rear-wheel drive and a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System to make the brand’s latest creation an exhilarating, road ripping monster. But don’t think the P-TCS is enough to completely tame this beast. The V10 power plat still delivers the same 610 hp and 560 No of torque we experienced in the coupé version. 0 to 60 mph happens in just 3.5 seconds before climbing to a top speed of 201 mph.

Whether you’ve got the roof open or closed, the EVO RWD Spyder commands your attention. Lamborghini’s made the lightweight soft top to keep the design lines flowing while still ensuring it’s purposeful and doesn’t take away from the supercar’s performance. And given the Spyder’s exterior lines, the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based firm’s assured us the drag reduction and downforce matches that of the coupé without requiring additional aerodynamic appendages, even while enhancing the rear-wheel drive car’s balance and dynamism with roof both up and down.

Look to both the front and rear to see design elements that help to differentiate the RWD Spyder from its 4WD stablemate. This includes a new front splitter and vertical fins within the larger, framed front air intakes as well as the rear bumper coming in high gloss black and featuring a new diffuser that’s unique to the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder.

If you’re still looking for an escape vehicle to hit the open road in, the raw driving pleasure of Lamborghini’s Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is hard to ignore. Less electronic intrusion and more freedom to go anywhere the roads might take us.

See the AR experience right through Lamborghini.com and look for it to MSRP at $229,428 USD through your nearest Lamborghini dealership.
