Local Hoops has opened their first pop-up shop and it’s in New York. The young basketball lifestyle brand and community opened their doors last night as they presented basketball-inspired art alongside the latest Local Hoops product.
The “Shoot The Three” artwork comes in partnership with artist Josiel Correa and photographer Kenny St George.
From San Antonio, JOSIEL has previously worked with the NBA G-League, Nike, adidas Originals, Forever 21, Footlocker, and the San Antonio Spurs. He’s previously collaborated with Local Hoops and so a natural collaborator for this pop-up shop. On the other hand, Kenny St George is an NYC-based photographer who covers commercial, editorial, and portrait photography. He has an immense passion for photography and visual arts and takes pride in eliciting emotion in his audience’s hearts through his visuals.
The “Shoot The Three” exhibition presented by Local Hoops will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM every Tuesday to Sunday from now until June 19th. The pop-up is located at 323 Canal Street.
