Stormzy, U.K. rapper and grime star, partnered with Adidas to launch #Merky FC, a soccer-based careers initiative program aimed at enhancing and protecting diverse representation in the football industry.
Along with ten other major brands, including Manchester United, Fulham FC, and Sky Sports, the #Merky FC initiative focuses on providing young black people access to a host of multi-year, paid professional placements across the industry.
The #Merky FC initiative is open to all, but applications from candidates aged 18-24 who identify as Black or mixed Black heritage are encouraged.Candidates in the UK who want to join in the program can visit the official #Merky FC website.
