2023 Ford GT Mk IV Is The Last of its Kind

Ford bookends the GT supercar generation with the limited edition 2023 Ford GT Mk IV, the most extreme hand-built track-only GT version ever. Named after Mk IV versions of the original GT40 that raced in 1967 by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV gets extensive bodywork, suspension, and powertrain changes.

The 2023 Ford GT Mk IV has a longer wheelbase than the last GT track version, the Mk II, and features an aerodynamic Carbon Fiber lengthened body with an even longer tail, redesigned fenders, front splitter, hood, and bumper. It loses the GT’s full headlights but has significantly large radiator intakes on each side.

Running the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV is a bespoke 800 hp twin-turbo Ford EcoBoost® engine. It also comes with Multimatic’s Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) race suspension and a custom-made gearbox.

As an homage to its Le Mans-winning namesake, production of the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV will be limited to just 67 hand-built units at Multimatic’s Markham, Ontario facility. The base price will be $1,700,000 per unit, and client applications begin at Ford’s website.

Ford will approve clients who will get the chance to purchase the cars in the first quarter of 2023, with the first deliveries planned for late spring.
