2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Gets Update and V8 Styling Package

Mercedes-AMG enters the 2024 model year with several revisions to its V6-powered AMG GT 4-Door models, the GT 43 and GT 53. Despite the visual changes, the same 3.0-liter, six-cylinder powertrain remains the same.

Both the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 43 and GT 53 get a redesigned ‘jet-wing design’ front profile that includes taller Panamericana grille openings inspired by the grille on the V8-powered GT 63. It is fitted with a narrow central intake, reshaped vertical air deflectors on the edges, and a chrome strip running across the bottom of the front bumper. Moving to the rear, the current V6 bumper design gets a lower bumper containing a three-slat diffuser insert.

Starting with the 2024 model year, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe also gets more standard equipment like an electric sliding sunroof, a wireless charging pad between the rear seats, and redesigned AMG-specific displays on the MBUX infotainment system.

Mercedes is also extending the updates to some of the existing packages, like a new twin-spoke design AMG Performance Steering Wheel, an optional rear bench that converts the fastback into a five-seater, and Dolby Atmos technology to go with the optional Burmester sound system. The new ‘opalite white metallic’ body paint is also set to debut.

Watch out as more information on the GT 43 and GT 53 comes out.
