Y-3’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection was revealed during Paris Fashion Week. The collection plays with the concept of ‘Contra-Natural’ to deliver an apparel, footwear and accessory series that marries synthetic and organic constructions into a cohesive whole.
The Y-3 SS24 collection makes use of digitally distorted floral prints, cargo pockets, oversized relaxed fits, adjustable hems, cotton twill fabrics, and heavy-duty outerwear pieces. The collection’s color palette sticks to neutrals with crisp blacks, whites, and grays, with a splash of pale yellows.
Highlight apparel pieces include a redesigned adidas Superstar tracksuit with technical pockets, adjustable hems and topographical map piping, redesigned adidas’ Teamgeist soccer jerseys, and digital floral printed outerwear, pants, and bags.
The Y-3 SS24 footwear collection presented new silhouettes and returning classics with the collapsible leather crafted Y-3 Stan Smith and Y-3 Country with piped detailing, Y-3 Gendo, Kyasu and Itogo, Gendo Run high-top with a contrasting floral graphic outsole and sporting tread, and the Kyasu Slip-Ons.
