Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date Releases Limited Edition Golden Bay and Ocean Breeze Variants
German watchmaker Glashütte Original adds the latest Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date variants to its vintage catalog. Inspired by the Seventies ́ bright colors, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date Golden Bay and Ocean Breeze evoke the season’s sand and sea.
The new 40mm Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date models feature matte lacquered dials in either a warm ochre ‘Golden Bay’ hue or a light gray-blue ‘Ocean Breeze’ colorway. It also features a satin-brushed stainless steel case with rounded corners, dark subdials, central stop seconds, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds, power reserve display at 9 o’clock, 12-hour aperture at 12 o’clock, and the signature white Panorama Date on black background at 6 o’clock, applied indices, Hour markers with luminous spot, flat sapphire crystals over the dial and the caseback, and water resistance up to 100 meters. There are two strap options available, a matte black rubber strap with a fold-over clasp and a stainless steel bracelet with a fine adjustment mechanism.
The new Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date Golden Bay and Ocean Breeze, like the others in the line, are powered by the 4Hz Caliber 37-02 self-winding chronograph movement. It features a Skeletonized rotor with the double-G symbol, a 21-carat gold oscillation weight, Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, beveled and polished edges, polished and blued screws, and a 70-hour power reserve.
The Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date Golden Bay and Ocean Breeze, limited to only 100 examples each, are now available worldwide from Glashütte Original boutiques and from selected retailers.
