Hodinkee has once again joined forces with the renowned musician John Mayer and Los Angeles-based design house Online Ceramics to present the much-anticipated G-SHOCK Ref. 5600 By Online Ceramics Limited Edition For Hodinkee. Online Ceramics, celebrated for its Dead & Co T-shirt designs and a cult following in the music scene, lends its distinctive touch to this limited edition timepiece.

Marking the second chapter in a three-part collaboration series, this project, curated by Mayer, brings together the worlds of music, design, and horology. Following the success of the G-SHOCK Ref. 6900 – Subtract By Ed Sheeran, the partnership with Online Ceramics promises a fresh, imaginative take on the iconic G-SHOCK 5600 model.

The G-SHOCK Ref. 5600 By Online Ceramics Limited Edition comes in a deep forest green colorway, resin case and strap, mineral glass covering the screen, an ‘Online Ceramics’ logo in a whimsical font on the strap, electro-luminescent backlight with Afterglow, a screen surrounded by vibrant yellow, red, and orange accents, the brand’s snail logo on the lower right, the phrases ‘Sun Watch, Moon Time’ and ‘Mushroom House Haunted Wagon’ framing the face, a stainless steel screw-back, and 200 meters of water resistance.

Despite its lighthearted design, the G-SHOCK Ref. 5600 By Online Ceramics maintains the renowned durability of G-SHOCK timepieces. It runs on the Module: 3229 quartz movement with Multi-Function Alarm, Flash Alert, Calendar, Stopwatch, and Countdown Timer functions, 12/24 Time Formats, and a CR2016 cell two-year battery.
