ESPN’s 10-Part Michael Jordan Docu-Series Is Coming This Month

ESPN was originally planning to release The Last Dance in June but looks like we’ll be getting the 10-part Michael Jordan documentary series much earlier and boy do we need it. It’s coming April 19th and chronicles MJ and the Chicago Bulls’ 1997-98 season, Jordan’s sixth and final NBA Championship. Hours of behind-the-scenes footage was captured over the course of the season, with The Last Dance giving us access to Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, coach Phil Jackson, and everything that came their way as they journeyed to their second three-peat. Interviews are captured with the likes of Barack Obama, Kobe Bryant, Justin Timberlake and many others.

The Last Dance will air on ESPN over five consecutive Sundays from April 19 to May 17, and will be available on Netflix the following Mondays.
