Toyota Land Cruiser Poised to Return to US Shores

Toyota just announced that the Land Cruiser name is returning to Toyota’s US portfolio via a Facebook post showing vintage Land Cruiser badges in a short video clip.

The Toyota Land Cruiser, the rugged all-terrain truck, stopped selling in the US after 2021 when the 200-series truck ended production. No information was available on whether the return includes the new 300-series truck or eschew that for the next-generation Land Cruiser Prado.

The five-second-long teaser video highlights some emblems used over the years, including the 20-Series, the 40-Series, and the 60-Series models. Accompanying the video is the caption, ‘Did you think we’d be gone for long? The legend returns.’

More information regarding the Toyota Land Crusier’s return should be available in the coming months.
