Maurice de Mauriac Chrono Modern Grand Prix Zurich Distilling the Spirit of Motorsports
Swiss watch manufacturer Maurice de Mauriac has introduced the all-new ‘Chrono Modern Grand Prix Zurich’ timepiece, paying homage to the adrenaline-fueled spirit of the Zurich Grand Prix that was set to blaze in 1939 before World War II intervened. As the official timekeeper for the Zurich Grand Prix 2023, Maurice de Mauriac’s latest creation echoes the brand’s enduring commitment to the world of racing.
The Chrono Modern Grand Prix Zurich comes in two sizes, 42mm and 45mm, and features racing stripes graphics, an option for either sleek steel with silver dial or with a black PVD coating and black dial, a customizable ‘Lucky Numbers’ detail on the dial that allows wearers to commemorate significant moments or personal victories, a screwed bezel, crown, and pushers, a day-date combination, an open case back, and water resistance of up to 100 meters.
Powering the Chrono Modern Grand Prix Zurich is the Swiss Valjoux ETA 7759 movement with a racing-inspired oscillating weight and a custom-labeled rotor.
The Chrono Modern Grand Prix Zurich timepiece is now available to order from the Maurice de Mauriac e-commerce site and retails for $4,071. For more information, please visit the Maurice de Mauriac website.
