Clockwork Motorcycles has completed a refurbished and rebuilt 1978 Honda CB750 ‘Ultra Noir’. ‘The bike was a non-runner, and was worked on by some mysterious guys with questionable skills,’ says Clockwork Motorcycles’ Samuel Guertin about the CB750 when it was received. Guertin rewired the bike and installed a new electronic ignition and high output coils, then added a set of Keihin CR29 carbs with K&N filters, as well as other components. He also trimmed the rear frame and balanced the bike with two 18-inch wheels with stainless steel spokes and nipples. The client requested that the bike be made all-black by the vintage custom bike shop and as a result, it features the Canadian-based company’s signature touches, including leather seating on the monochrome motorcycle made up of black powder-coated metal parts. The body is colored by matte black paint and has a glossy finish, true to the model’s ‘Ultra Noir’ naming. Visit the Clockwork Motorcycles website for more details.
